Exactly what you expect a castle to be. It's also lucky to be much loved and therefore well maintained. The museum in the interior halls is full of antique objects that give you an idea of what life was like in the Middle Ages.

I have been to many castles in my time and this is an excellent one. Entry was €7 pp. Content stunning and interesting. Well presented rooms, variety of exhibits. Views are also amazing over Riva del Garda.
