I love this place and always make the choice to stop here. It is very busy with local tourism on the weekend and very tranquil during the week. There are boats you can hire, small restaurants or bring your own picnic for the picnic tables. The old cypress trees on the edge of the blue-green water are magnificent. The water... More

Really nice lake, at the entrance you can get beer and snacks. Similarly to other nature spots in the state, one can find the usual plastic chairs, not great facilities, drunk people having its own mini party, and local "norteños" which are a 3 men bands playing loud music with unattractive instruments. Despite all of the local taste, the lake... More

Lovely lake, great for pictures. You can bring your food and haves picnic or buy from the "puestos" inside. Must try their fruit platter and micheladas! Nice park towards the back for the kiddos.

This lake is incredibly beautiful, More than a lake, it's is spring fed and the water was crystal clear, and it's the beginning of a small river! In consequence the water is super clean- green-blue. You can swim and do snorkel, all the edge of the lake is surrounding by big trees “ahuehuetes” (also known as Montezuma Cypress).
