Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Omar did an incredible job of touring us around this special, boutique coffee farm. We had a wonderful experience without any crowds and are so glad we chose this Finca to tour while in coffee country!

Not only is this coffee plantation how it should be, but the commentary that came with the visit explained so much. I can not recommend this experience enough, especially if looking considered farming is of interest.

As others say this is a great tour because of Don Carlos and what you learn whilst drinking coffee and wandering the farm. And not just about coffee but many other herbs, flowers & fruit that are grown here.

We were recommended this coffee farm tour by a few people as somewhere that was smaller, more personal tours which run when you show up rather than set times or numbers.
Walked 1.5hrs down the road from the town to get there, nice easy walk, great views, not a busy road at all - worth the walk.
The English speaking guide - Juan - was already out on a tour, so we waited about 45mins, but were given a choice of hot drinks while we waited.
Juan was an excellent guide - perfect English, really knowledgeable and engaging, and happy to answer any question. The tour lasted nearly 2 hours and didn't feel rushed, like he had all the time in the world which was really nice.
Started with the history of coffee, where it started, how it got to Colombia, and how this farm developed.
Then had a tour of the farm, which also does other fruit & veg, other trees, chickens etc.
We tried a freshly picked passionfruit and banana, and of course finished the tour with a traditional coffee from the finca. They sell roasted or ground coffee in various sizes for you to buy.
Tour was 20,000pp, jeep ride is 3,000pp one way, and come past the finca once an hour so can just grab a lift back up to town.
Really recommended.

This tour was excellent! Beautiful finca, it was as a tour to nature. It is so nice to see people so passionate about their work and what they can achieve. Our guide Juan spoke perfect English, was super analytical and gave as all the details to understand how a finca works! I highly recommend that tour !!!

Fantastic coffee tour. High attention to sustainability, historical background. Good English (altho don Carlos thinks it’s not so good: it is very good!).
Great to see the entire process and all fruit trees/vegetable plants he has on the farm as well. Nice coffee to try at the end of the tour.
It’s the last coffee farm if you walk down the street, we stayed at Kasaguadua: than it’s only 30min walk max: easy manageable.
