This is a traditional church like those in the country. There are many masses during the weekend. Tourist from out of the country can appreciate the colonial architecture brought from Spaniards to this continent. There are beautiful stained glass windows.

Quite pretty church located in the main square in Salento. There was a service in progress when we visited adding to the atmosphere. Nothing special really but you may as well pay a visit if you're in Salento.

The very touristic but yet pretty town of Salento has a well kept town square. On the square is the rather typical town church. Although It is nothing particularly special it still is a comfortable place to visit.

This is worth a brief stroll through the church. It has been renovated and is bright and cheerful. Interestingly, the doors appear to be always open and we were accompanied by a couple of stray dogs who seemed to adopt us.
