It is worth walking up the stairs to look over the town, but don’t expect an enjoyable place to sit to watch the sunset like we did. The entire top of the hill looks like a project that’s been forgotten. There used to be food...More

this easily accessible from Calle Real, where most shops are located in town. The view is beautiful and worth the climb up the steps (not a very arduous walk)

The trek isn’t too far from anywhere in town and takes about 10 mins to get to the top (go slow if you’re still adjusting to altitude). The view of the town and the surrounding countryside is beautiful and well worth the short hike.

After walking the Calle Real with plenty of shops I went uphill to the viewpoint. There is this huge valley, very beautiful and green, so inviting.

The weekend I stayed shops were open on Sunday and it was quite busy, you can find some good coffee tours and also try to do the hike in cocora valley. Enjoy!
