It is the most cool and calm place ever ..And the mist cover mornings are so romantic ...Cool breezes ..fully covered by thich forest and there is no parking facilities ....May be in future there will be parking facilities....A great view for those who loves nature

Myself purposefully used this Charmadi ghat from Hassan to Mangalore. It has several hairpin bends and offers great challenge for drivers. Traffic is less and can see two small water falls on the way. Be careful on the rushing KSRTC buses and taxis.

Wonderful place to drive and trek.cool breeze and great view everywhere. Need a local with you to trek or you could get lost. Thanks to bairav from River cross estate homestay for guiding us during the trek.

Charmadi Ghat is one of the points through which it connects Chikkamagalur district with Dakshina Kannada District. We were staying at the river cross estate homestay and charmudi was a short drive from there. Truly beautiful place with small waterfalls and view points all along the roads.

Charmaine is an adventurous drive and a must visit for bikers.little waterfalls are formed durimg rains which fall on the road. Great view all around.

Amazing drive through the Western Ghats - try to do that during monsoon times - lush green patch, waterfalls all through the way....nice road, well maintained ghat section.......

Morning fog make you feel like heaven. On the way to chikkamagalur we stopped our TT and travelled extra 3kms and found a lovely view point. It was amzing.

Amazing drive, this road connects Udupi to Bangalore/Chikmaglur. takes about an hour from Belur. Twists and turns, Twists and turns - you would drive out the shape of pretty much every letter in the alphabet. I wouldn't say they are unsafe in anyway - though driver caution is neccessary. Very scenic drive that's totally worth the time spent. Even more... More
