Clearly speaking for local people "its just another gate". This area is congested and has frequent traffic jams. the fruit and vegetable sellers have encroached all over. Poor condition.

Its an historical monument in the heart of the old Panipat city. The area near to it has a vegetable market in the evening and also a good food junction where lot of good stalls operate in the evening. Also, it is close to bus stand and can be easily accessed by rickshaws.

This gate is located in main city which divides the city into old and new Panipat. I found it as an average one but a historical monument though.
