The sun was shining although the temperature was coolish. An ideal day to visit Lochore. We were well prepared with our sturdy boots and weatherproof jackets so off we went for a jaunt around the Loch. Plenty of parking available on site. We decided to...More
I headed to Lochore for a go on the bike trails they have there. There is a skills loop, marked trails and loads of paths that are open for all park users. A cafe is available and if you were going with family there is...More
Took the three and a half mile hike around the loch, which was relaxing and not particularly difficult. The occasional collection of coos made the experience even more pastoral. At the end, had the chance to have a light lunch at the new Willie Clarke...More

This is your place, easy, short, accessible and quiet trails.
4 year old loved it, just the right amount of drops to keep dad excited.
Something for everyone, a real beauty spot created from old industry.

It can be very busy on warm weekends, particularly over the Fife school holiday and around the children's park and beach area but there still is room for everyone. The walks around the loch are always available and never too crowded. You can cycle around the loch, use the short skills course or use the graded skills courses in the white woods section of the facility.
It is always fun no matter the weather or how busy it is.
