Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Olerdola is an abandoned medieval hilltop village overlooking the Penedes wine region just outside of Barcelona. The first settlement on the hilltop goes back thousands of years, and the site later became an Iberian Iron Age village, then a Roman settlement, and then a medieval village.
It's a great place to learn about the history and archaeology of Catalonia and the Penedes wine region.
The site is also one of the one of the five main branches of the Archaeology Museums of Catalonia (MAC - Museu d'Arqueologia de Catalunya). But, the actual museum exhibition here is quite small, but the rest of the site and its ruins and buildings make up for it.

You can get there by car until the very entrance ( plenty of parking slots). The price is 3,5 EUR per person.
It's a beautiful place good for a bit of walking, pictures or simply contemplating the view.
We really enjoyed it and from there we headed to Castell de Castellet , less than 20 minutes by car.
100% recommended when in the area.
