Spent a very pleasant couple of hours exploring the house with my family. The garden was compact but it was fun looking for the bats. The tour was excellent. Certainly brought the house to life which was a wonderful example of a late Victorian 'gentlemans'...More

A little hidden gem of a place full of local history. Very informative guides and lovely coffee and cakes. The gardens are wonderful. Look very hard for the signs as they are not easy to see and easily missed.

Had a thoroughly interesting guided tour of this Victorian property, with a real insight into how the upper middle-class chose to live over many generations. Fantastic grounds too. Well worth a visit.

BNot as big and important as other NT properties this hows how a high middle class family lived during the beginning of the last century. It shows the life and works of Joan Lander.
