Booked a hill trek at Shean's horse farm and all I can say is it was Fantastic! Kevin our guide was super! Great knowledge of his horses and great at making you feel at ease! Views were spectacular even on an overcast day.

Visited sheans with my 8 yr old daughter and did a beginner's trek. The trek took us through the scenic countryside of ballymoney which was lovely. One of the staff stayed close by us for the whole trek to ensure that we were good and he chatted away and gave lots of encouragement to my daughter. The farm is in... More

the visit to the farm included interaction with the horses and a demonstration of the harvesting of peat moss. The owner was very enthusiastic and gave us a great tour. The hospitality of tea and scones was appreciated.

My daughter booked a pony trek for my 9 year old grandaughter & some of her friends as an alternative birthday party. All of the children - even those who were initially nervous - enjoyed it immensely. The ponies were very well behaved & staff who accompanied us were friendly & competent. We were provided with a barn for the... More

Chose the 40 min trek as we weren't sure how scared wed be, it actually lasted a bit longer I think. When we first got on our... More

The neighbor fellow who joined us was delightful - as were the tea and scones. Could have left it at that.... More
