The first thing you encounter when you get off the Vaporetto is the Martina Vidal boutique. It is so beautiful, we had to stop and look in. Could not help myself and bought a beautiful silk scarf, original and so beautiful. If you want to splurge, this is the place. Do not miss the back garden, it is a beautiful... More

We took the No.12 water bus from Fondamente Note Stop. When you get to the Burano, walk strait along the street. The store will be on your right. There are beautiful clothing and house hold items with laces. It has been owned by four generation and the present owner who is both a designer and also a... More

Excellent service. The sales agent was knowledgeable about the product, care and content. I purchased table linens that did not fit my table when we returned from our trip to Italy. They worked with me for 9 months trying to get me the right size and design that worked for our dining room. They went out of their way to... More

The first time I went to Burano was as a young, broke, 20 year old. I was struck by the painstaking beauty of the needle lace but, alas, had not planned on purchasing anything and have been kicking myself ever since. Fast forward 12 years and this store was my first stop upon arriving in Venice. I was a woman... More

We went looking for the museum and the sales lady explained that they have a very tiny museum and also said where the main one was. We asked if we could see theirs and it was no problem and she gave us a complete tour and guide of lace making and history. Such a shame it's a dying trade but... More

It's not just a store, it's an experience! It was my last day in Venice and although I had heard wonderful things I was hesitant to spend the day in Burano - but I'm so glad I did! This store is breathtakingly beautiful and every person I encountered was lovely. It's part shopping part lesson in the beautiful and lost... More

I've been to Burano many times over the years. I've learned a lot about lace and beatiful hand embrorderd items. This by far, family owned and run, is the best place with quality and beauty of thier wide array of items. Everything from wedding/bride items to high valued bedsheets and even emroidered with your name or moniker of your choice.... More

Wasn't planning to buy any lace in Burano, but a lovely black lace sun umbrella just outside their window caught my eye. The sales lady was lovely, very helpful. And once inside to take a quick look, I fell in love with a lace jacket that I couldn't find in my size. Not only did the saleslady find one for... More
