For our 9 year anniversary, we undertake the 1.5h drive to Bleiswijk to celebrate this joyous occasion, having booked an arrangement including Balinese massage and dinner buffet - seemed like the best idea before driving back. Upon arrival it is immediately clear we won't be the only ones - the parking is nigh on full, and the reception area reminds... More

This place is comparable with Therme Erding in Munich. We've been to lots of spas in Europe and we can say Elysium is one of the biggest. You can get lost in the maze of Saunas, jacuzzis, pools and steambaths. There are indoor and outdoor locations, both with many options of Saunas and pools. The pools water were pretty warm,... More

Been numerous times and feel they are going downhill. Salt pool decor, needs updating. Too many sauna's, not enough bubbles. Miss good jets in some pools. Quiet pool lost its nature movie. New restaurant is cold, and nit inky the temperature. I love it but it is not going forward.

This is our fourth time here, we were very happy as always with the resort, the very clean facilities and everything in general. The only error was to choose to have dinner at the buffet. DON'T. The food is horrible. Better wait and eat in Rotterdam. I would recommend to come spend the day here. At night it's very nice,... More

Thanks for your review. Sorry to hear that the buffet was disappointing. Probably is a la carte a better option for the next time . Elysium is unfortunately difficult to reach by public transport. The bus stop is a 20-minute walk away. We hope that you still had a good day and hope to see you. More

Elysium is a very elaborate sauna and wellness resort with several dozens of sauna' s, pools and resting areas. You can spend a whole day there and still not have used every facility. Unfortunately when we visited it was quite busy and that erodes the experience. There are several restaurants but only accessible with a robe, these can be rented... More

There are lots of saunas, but not enough outdoor pools. The outdoor pools are small and cramped. There were way too many people, and I came here on a workday - god knows how it must be on a weekend. It was also impossible to get to with public transport. If you don't have a car, it's not worth going.... More

Years ago a visited Elysium and they have undergone a total transformation. I'm still in a bit of shock. I'll admit they done a good job, but...for me never again! The place is huge but still to crowded with people, enough staffmembers but most of them looked fed up, absolutly no way you could relax! Elysium can do a better... More

Very nice and big sauna. The latter also meaning that there are a lot of people around and this has to be your cup of tea for such a thing. With over 60 different saunas theres one for everybody.

There was a beautiful garden, several restaurants and, despite the many cars parked outside, it wasn't overcrowded. Lots of saunas to visit, so if you end up in a room with overly chatty people, it is easy to find another one. We also had a lunch there, but it seemed a bit lacking in diversity for 17 euro per person.
