Beautiful place on South Bohemia landscapes, professional guided tour included Old Library visiting, perfect monastery shop with a lot of different monastery goods such as wine, beer, honey ets including some rare Trappist beers.

This Cistercian monastery and church is very interesting, absolutely shouldn´t be missed. make a time reserve ( one all day for the visit ). Excellent place in Vyšší Brod.

Vyssi Brod is near the Czech-Austrian border. If you are heading to Cesky Krumlov it is not much further. You can only visit on tours which will probably be in Czech but good information is provided in English or German and your guide probably speaks...More
