This place is a warning site for all people, what does war mean. Silent memories in the forest, telling a lot. I recommend to hire local guide, who can be found from parking, to get more to know about these cement gigants. Guide asked 20...More

Well worth a visit to learn about the history of the place and the attempted assassination of Hitler by his own Generals (look out for stray briefcases). You can wander on your own, but be careful there its lots of exposed rebar, take a guide...More

it was interesting place, a lot of bunkers in one place. but without a guide pretty much all you see is a lot of bricks. if you want to know history of this place you should definatly buy a guide.

So many bunkers in one place in the woods. The description are very rare on the way so either with a book or a guide otherwise, it's hard to know what's there exactly.

This was our second trip to Wolf's Lair a few years apart. Both times the visit was fascinating, educational with very high quality guides. The ruins, artifacts, semi-preserved buildings - so much to see and learn. I do recommend a guided tour to get the...More

This is where Hitler spent much of the war. The Allies did not discover it until near the war's end. The site comprises several bunkers, wrecked by the Germans as they retreated towards the end of the war. There is enough explanation (at least in...More
