Parking can be a problem (just two areas with room for 2=3 cars in each), but well worth it if you want to give your dog a relaxing run in the woods. Be aware there are deer, so perhaps keep them on the lead.

I visit here with my dog most days - its a 1.5 mile loop of road through a mixed woodland - with loads of paths, benches and tables. Well sheltered on a windy day.

The circular path through the woods makes for lovely walk. I have been lucky enough to see red squirrels, birds of prey, frogs and many butterflies on our weekly walks.

Highly recommended for family walks and dog walking. On cold days you are sheltered by the trees. Local beauty spot.
