It's a pity that Donald Trump is President-Elect of the USA as he would have been the ideal person to take over Crystal Bay and Mountain Shadow golf clubs. The whole estate needs to be rescued by a wealthy investor with experience of running a golf business. Crystal Bay has big blocks of bedrooms that have been empty for years.... More

Nice well laid out course in good condition - club house and everything else needs investment - fair value for money

This is another golf club that has gone through a difficult period but is slowly but surely improving. There is nothing at all wrong with the course. It is in good condition, the caddies are helpful, but the management leaves a lot to be desired. We arrived to play off on time and found several groups waiting to play ahead... More

The course is nice to play, not only to single golfers but also to us club players. Many holes offer plenty of space to open on the fairway. Some require still planning and placing the ball properly for second shot. Greens were this time slow being compared to some other courses around Pattaya area. Not too difficult and so good... More

Crystal Bat golf club has at last had money spent on it and the clubhouse is slowly getting back to its previous high standard. It still needs new carpets for the clubhouse and better managements out on the golf course! Their telephone booking service is really poor with many of the numbers listed simply not working! The golf course itself... More

Not too far from Bangkok, only one and a half hour and not difficult to find. Price is reasonable. Good flow of golfers, not congested. But course condition need maintenance. Grass in many areas are dry. Need a bit patient to book as operator always busy.

Crystal Bay continues to be one of our favourite golf courses in Thailand. Its combination of links golf and palm tree lined fairways makes this a perfet example of tropical golf. The only problem is the lack of management. During a recent golfing holiday, we tried to contact the golf club by phone for a week without getting an answer.... More

Crystal Bay golf club is about 40 minutes north of Pattaya on the coast road, Route 3, to Chonburi. It is easily identifed by its three high-rise blockes of condos that sit near to the clubhouse This is a superb 27 holes, par 72 course designed by thai Takenaka. This is a park-like course with flowering shrubs and palm trees... More
