Not much left of the three original structures but there are great views of the country side and lake beside it.

We did a quick stop at this fort after our Gorontalo stay and it was very much worth it. Great views over the lake and some nice history to be learned. Hopefully we can come back and explore the fort some more.

A very affordable tourist spot away from the city center. can be reached by taxi online (only 30k rupiahs) or traditional bentor (around 50k rupiahs). Highly recommended for travelers who do not have much time while in town.

The fort is certainly worth seeing as part of your exploration of Gorontalo given its location and spectacular views over Lake Limboto and the surrounding Mountains. The fort is a small 16th century Portuguese fort so go for the view not the fort!

The fort is so-so.it's in the city gorontalo.facing to limboto lake which becomes more land than a lake.visit in the morning or in late afternoon.

This Fortress is located about 10 kilometer from Gorontalo. It is built on top of the hill. The construction was unique and from the top we can see the Limboto lakes and sorrounding villages.

This place located not too far away from the Jalaludin Airport so it is worth to visit on your way to the airport before you catch your flight home. It is a Portuguese fort, still pretty much in good shape. We can choose to walk...More
