Came to see this little jem because my great grandmother was born here. Unfortunately there weren't any staff onsite but it was still nice to walk around the town and see the old heritage buildings. Loved it!

We went to Cannington Manor on a sunny summer morning. The park actually has two sites, an original old manor house and the town site itself. The costumed interpreters and visitor centre were all well done, and the story of English upper class migrants coming...More

We went to this location on August 24. We were informed they were shutting down for the season the next day. They already had plastic coverings over most of the exhibits and some buildings were closed, so didn't get the full experience, although they still...More

The manor and the village is a good visit. Everything is very accessible and you can fool around with some old gadgets. The blacksmith shop provides some fun. Otherwise it's a museum lol. $9 for a family which I guess keeps the door open. The...More

Was a nice heritage spot to visit if you're in the area. Quite interesting actually I believe it cost $5 to visit and it's well worth it.

This is a lovely little pioneer village kind of in the middle of no where. We went while there was an event on, so the historians were waiting in some of the building to welcome us, we got to make rope, wash clothing on a...More

We were glad to get to Cannington Manor before leaving southeast SK. The history is a unique one, and the staff went above and beyond to welcome us and answer our questions. The visitor's centre and other signage had a wealth of information. As others...More

Cannington Manor has wonderful history I had no idea that even existed. I especially enjoyed the guides and their knowledge of the homestead. Having being able to see the artifacts and gaining knowledge of separate pieces was very inspiring. Seeing the staff in original pioneer...More
