Walk was 1-2 hours to the top and back. Nice view from the top!
Rock itself had a lot of graffiti on it but the story of the speaking rock was nice to hear.

Huge must see! Views from the top are incredible you feel like your on top of the world! Doesn't take long to get up but it is steep on the way back down - would recommend some good shoes for the hike!

The speaking stone! what a wonderful rock and interesting hystorical site.....with a very nice walk from iringa center you can reach the gangilonga stone.....go with some friends, it will be more relaxing! I went at sunset...magical!

A good place to walk pass by shrubs and have and listen to sound of birds, it was a good experience for me.

Bit of a trek to get there but the view was worth it in the end, watching the sunset over Iringa was beautiful.

The previous reviewer is correct. I'm a resident of Iringa and live quite close to the rock. People regularly get attacked at that rock, and you take that risk if you go. It is a shame because it's beautiful, but until further notice please don't...More
