Fantastic old, old wall around the city to protect from previous pirates. Each area of the wall has now been turned into something different, museum, botanical garden, light show, etc.

Fabulous museum and a lovely old wall, we were a little disappointed it wasn’t bigger but we walked the whole city and other parts of the wall as well this is worth doing as there is a larger section further on around the city.

The city has done a nice job of preserving the wall and the homes and businesses have joined in. It is very nice. Plenty of small cafes and restaurants. We will most likely go back and spend more time in this pleasant town.

Great to see that such an old city wall still exists over all those years. Outside the wall you will find a completely different city.

Great Views from the top of the wall. Ring the Pirate attack alarm bell over the sea gate. You don't have to hit it hard for a loud sound. Great views from there. The museum underneath is Free too.

It was very hot when we visited Campeche. We crossed the wall when we walked to the see. It is nice to see.

If you are interested in historical events this is a place you must visit. A $15 pesos fee to access the top of the wall and have a view of surrounding streets at downtown. Parking is a little bit challenging, for you have to do...More
