Lovely nature except flies during Summer... Many picnic goers.. We went to Swan valley first and then visiting this place...it is approximately 5km off the main road and u will pass many horse stables that leads u in.

There are nice walking trails here for families with kids and dogs. The setting is peaceful and relaxing. Good for a family picnic/day out.

Opted for a weekend bush walk and chose Bells Rapids. I was a good decision. Clear skies and plenty of water rushing down the Avon. Even though it was about 10:30 is was crowded with picnickers, but there was enough parking. There's also toilet facilities...More

Spent a few hours here today, the sun was shining and everywhere looked so lovely! Definitely worth a visit. Wear good shoes as there’s lots of rocks to climb over.

After a large amount of rain, the rapids were really something wonderful to see. A tourist spot so close to Perth. Great walking tracks around the area allowed for fabulous photos to be taken. Worth a trip to see.

Try checking with Parks and Wildlife Service whether it is safe for you to build your own. I did not see any bbq pits there.
