This is a nice place to bring your kids if the weather isn’t great but we paid nearly £31 for soft play as as soon as you walk in you’re greeted by it and that’s all my child wanted to do. Sadly you don’t have the option to just do the soft play. My child wasn’t really interested in the tiny farm area and I went to the Guinea pig area as it was advertised to hold them at half 11 and no one turned up. The soft play area was clean though and the animals appeared cared for (if not a little bored) Shame you have to pay extra for the diggers & race cars but the outside area with picnic tables and trampolines is nice as is the sandpit with buckets & spades to use. My child also had a giggle at the tortoises having a ‘cuddle’.

Though we made the best of our visit today we were disappointed by what was on offer for the fee we paid on entrance.
The animals are obviously well cared for but felt something is just a bit lacking.
Soft play was excellent, obviously money has been spent on that.
Unfortunately the tractors weren't running today and if they were we would have had to pay and extra fee.
Just felt not good value for money.

If you’re a bird lover, I’d avoid going here…a beautiful parrot kept in a very very small cage, with a sign in the cage saying “if you’re concerned about animal welfare speak to a member of staff” so when I approached a staff member, I was told the parrot can’t fly and does stay in the cage. The beautiful bird was acting stressed and clearly would be better off being put to sleep. Very sad.
They also had very small cages for the other birds, parakeets or similar.
We won’t return unfortunately and this really did let the place down.

Called in to the café for a cup of tea one dismal wet afternoon at 4.15pm. Sign said open, closing at 4.30. Cafe was empty. We asked if it was too late for a cup of tea. Lady said yes, it was OK. No real greeting or smile. We were served with 2 small mugs, half filled with hot water and a tea bag in each, plus a jug of milk.
Drank it outside. Took empty mugs back in. Again, no thank you or smile. Not what you expect really.

Generally a nice place, the soft play area Is big enough and they say they sanitise it four times a day, although we got there at 10 when it opens and left at 1 and didn’t see it sanitised when we were there. We fed the goats which was great and saw the animals. The calf’s were adorable but I wondered if they had been ripped away from their mums, I’ve heard the screams from the mums and calf’s in tv and believe they are separated far too soon... would have been good to have seen babies with their mums in the larger pens outside. The bird cages were depressing but I’m one who believes birds should never be in cages, the parrot was all alone and anyone who knows the basics about birds know that they mate for life... so he must have been so sad living a solitary caged life. Didn’t see any bunnies would have been good to have stroked these providing they were ok with that and lived in large pens... Didn’t order food there, the tea wasn’t the best quality but the digger was fun. There was a play area outside as well which was good, also had a trampoline. The go carts were manual I was expecting electric! Could not move them very well. They need to invest in better tractors for the indoor area. If they had one of those mini baby rides that move and play music it would have been good as they can be easily sanitised.

We spent a long weekend here (Friday to Monday), initial impressions of the camp site were great, set in an amazing location with awesome views across the country side, the camp site itself is very large meaning you’re not packed in, there’s loads of room, everything was really tidy (basic toilet and shower facilities that were never “dirty” during our visit), we were greeted with a smile on arrival.
If you have a clear sky at night, look up and see the milkway spanning the night sky, although in more typical British weather be prepared to really feel the wind due to the high location.
You’re only a 5 minute drive from Swanage, which is great if you want to spend the day at the beach (head on early into Swanage and park on De Moulham Road for free all day parking which fills up very quick), you’re a short drive from Poole, Bournemouth, Lulworth Cove and Durdle Door should you wish to drive a little further a field.
We had a great stay here, and look most forward to coming back later in August. Definitely one of the top campsites around Swanage.

A nice small animal farm with large soft-play barn and refreshments. Overall this was okay for a few hours. The main drawback here is that there is a limited number of tables for parents/carers in the soft-play barn and most of the tables in there seemed to be “unofficially reserved” by means of an abandoned coat/scarf/bag with no apparent owners. We were in the barn for about an hour and not once did anyone sit at these large abandoned tables whilst other families stood around waiting for somewhere to sit and eat. It would be beneficial to all if the selfish table hogging could somehow be stopped. Food was good and staff were friendly.

Had a brilliant time. Celebrated my granddaughters 3rd birthday. Staff are helpful and friendly. Facilities are suitable for all ages. Adults and kids enjoyed the soft play. Animals are well behaved and cared for. Definitely recommend to friends and family. Great value for money.

I found this place through a recommendation of a friend my little boy is 1 and loves the baby zone for crawling around and exploring ! The animal bit is lovely too, we sat ad had a picnic on the grass. We live locally so bought a yearly pass definitely worth the money.
Thanks will see you again soon

Stayed two nights in our camper. Very accommodating. Plenty of room. Basic but clean shower and toilet block. Nice view of the hills. Slightly inclined pitches but no problem if you have ramps. Would definately come back. Short drive to Swanage which was ideal. Nice and quiet too.
