Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We are sorry you had a poor experience at our airport.
The Cafe is run independently and therefore it may be best to direct your comment directly to VG Bar and Grill for them to address.

Went to watch the helicopters and planes set off with the 2 grandchildren that was lovely kids enjoyed it.. they also loved the little play area ..we then ordered food which I would not recommend doing as £15 for a hotdogs and frozen chips was scandalous we also ordered burger and chips that was also expensive and not quality food. So if you avoid the pricey food and just have a drink it's a nice get out with the kids.

I visited the fun fair on Sunday 29th August with my husband, 4 year old and 2 year old. The first ride we attempted to go on with our children the staff member was extremely rude and very miserable!! We seemed to be a nuisance to her day. The next few rides were okay apart from again very miserable staff. The only friendly staff we encountered was the young boy running the small train ride and the girl running the swinging square seats. The donkeys seemed to be run by very young teenagers who were dragging the poor donkeys around and laughing and joking while pulling the donkeys reigns to their dismay! Finally myself and my 4 year old went on the larger dragon ride and after riding it once we opened the safety bar to get off- without looking back or checking anyone’s seats again the staff member pressed the ride to go again with myself half way out the seat and my 4 year old still seated with the safety barrier up. I had to drag my child off who is now traumatised- I dread to think what could have happened if I hadn’t have acted quickly- the ride goes to heights of at least 20-30 feet at the highest point. There could have been a potent ion so fatal situation because the staff member didn’t follow correct safety precautions! My very visibly distressed daughter was met with apologies from the owner of the funfair but instead of offering a refund her offered we return free of charge! We will NEVER return to this fair again and will be telling my story to whoever I speak to!! Absolutely appalled and still shocked and traumatised at the experience we had!!

We went to the funfair (Barton beach) at the airport, the staff were horrible, they are either racist or incompetent, we spent 22 pounds for the ticket and were treated like we didn't belong there.
One of the staff member manage to drop my child(3 years old) and didn't even bother to apologise to her, an other staff member saw us waiting for a ride without saying anything to us went on a break leaving us standing there like we were nothing, We bought 3 very expensive burgers and they were cold and not good at all. On the last ride the staff were acting recklessly, they have scared my daughter to the point that she doesn't want to go back there.
We spend 60 pounds more or less for my daughter to have a couple of hours of fun but the staff made the all experience horrible for us.
Only one girl was friendly.
Like I said before they are either racist (I really hope no) or they are extremely incompetent.

Myself and family went to watch the planes with our grandchildren and decided to have a meal while we were there. We had a Sunday dinner and OMG, the amount we got was fabulous and very worth the money we paid. The drinks are very reasonable to. In the school summer holidays they have a Summer Beach month with real sand, a fairground, ice creams, fast food - we were lucky to get a very sunny day and it was amazing!
