Went to see Shawshank Redemption as I am a major fan of the film and wanted to see what it was like on stage and I was not disappointed. The actors were fantastic and the adapted story line worked really well. The theatre itself is a wonderful venue with big comfy seats and you can see from anywhere you sit.

This as a show with acrobats, aerialists, a clown, and motor bike performers, the show was good but the music was too loud which was a shame. It was also a pity that the auditorium was not very full, it did not reflect the performers artistry.

We visited the Churchill Theatre, Bromley in November 2016 to see the Chinese State Circus. We had seats H25 and H26 in the stalls, which were dead centre and just the right distance from the stage. The seats were comfortable, with loads of leg room and staggered so, unless you had somebody really tall in front of you, the view... More

Surprisingly comfortable seats, ideal for the taller members of the land, plenty of leg room. Don't even need to get up to let people past. Reasonable acoustics. Good lobby area with food and drink available. Few too many stairs down to the stalls so a lift would help. ( Looked but didn't find one)

Craig Revel Harwood was excellent, especially his rendition of "My Way". Paul Burling as Mr Smee held the whole thing together and was excellent. The little ones absolutely enjoyed the throwing of 'bricks' and joined in enthusiastically. My only disappointment the crudeness of the jokes by a ventriloquist whose inclusion should be kept away from children's entertainment. Toilets are always... More

Went to see Peter Pan for my wife's birthday treat which was fantastic with Craig Revel Horwood as Hook. We had not been to a panto since taking our children to the Theatre Royal in Brighton twenty years ago and had forgotten how much fun it was not only for children but also for adults. The cast were all brilliant... More

The theatre has changed hands in recent times and there seems to be a bigger range of performances of differing sorts of shows. The seating is comfortable with good leg room and there is a good view in the stalls from back or front of the theatre. Prices are perhaps a little high for the provinces but compared with London... Last night we went to see "Only Fools & 3 Courses". The show was sold as "Join us for this fabulous dining event, combining fine food and comedy action served up Only Fools And Horses style!" How they have the cheek to sell this as "fine food" is beyond me. We arrived for the show where we had a quick... More
