Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

One hour drive from Bucharest but a very nice place. Romanian architectural style of the 18th century recently revamped. A cute nice park. A good outing from the capital, nice tour guides, some furniture but a good vibe of the period.

Presently, it is admired at this palace: the remarkable originality of the special architecture, which closely follows Brancoven models, after the restoration process. It can be a place for matrimonial events.
Unfortunately, the palace it is not popular, the area is not easily accessible and has no other tourist facilities. The region is "empty" and give a sinister touch. If you travel in this area, the palace could be visited! Have you a nice trip!

Visited the Palace a week ago and I was astonished by the beauty of the place. The large front courtyard with the main building and two other buildings serving also as museums. Also the back yard with the pond were splendid. Inside the main building you can find even access for persons with movement disabilities. I was impressed by the old cellar, which now is like an events.

This is relatively close to Bucharest and is a great treat for those who enjoy this architectural style, represented at Mogoșoaia and several other churches. The gardens and palace have been nicely restored, as this went into decay after Constantin Brâncoveanu was executed. Cheap ticket, good experience to hear the stories, nice panels and we enjoyed the tour from the guide.

The restoration work done at the place is amazing. It is totally worth a visit if you are in the area or if you would like to take a half day trip from Bucharest. The guide provided a lot of good information, I truly enjoyed the visit.

Brîncoveanu Palace was completed in 1698 but after his assassination by Turkish the building was degraded continuously and reached a ruin. In the last years it was renovated completely, works ending in the late 2015. Now the palace looks very nice; inside was an exhibition of medieval objects from the epoch. There is also room for conferences. And the park is a very pleasant place to walk and rest. I learned that additional two to three outbuildings will be designed as exhibits. Worth seeing the church of the same age, also recently restored. From Bucharest the complex can be reached by microbus in approx. 1 h 15 min. (go to the final station). For now entering the complex is free for all.

The Palace complex in Potlogi is a historical monument of national importance and is representative for late 17th century residential architecture. This palace it's older than Mogosoaia Palace (built by the same ruler of Wallachia, Constantin Brancoveanu). This palace was built in 1698 and destroyed by the Turks only 17 years later, in 1715. The restoration process begin in the communist era and now is almost ready.

The Palace can be visited from Monday to Friday, between 9-17, for the moment the entrance is free.
