Went as a family of 8 on a sunny afternoon and had a fantastic time! Dave and Lizzie were both so lovely and knowledgeable - they happily answered our many questions about the different landforms and beautiful wildlife. If you're lucky, you may even get to see some dolphins - this was certainly the highlight of our trip! I would recommend wearing sunglasses to shield your eyes from the wind, and wearing long trousers which can easily be rolled up as you will need to walk in knee-deep water to get to the boat and it does gets a bit chilly on the boat. Overall, I would highly recommend booking a trip with Gower Coast Adventures!

Tuesday 10th September 10.30 am. It has all been said in the reviews below. After our safety briefing, we walked down to the boat, waded out and our fantastic trip around the Gower. We saw the local Oxwich Bay fisherman emptying one of his pots, dogfish returned to sea but a decent sized lobster was his reward. We saw Kittywakes and Gulls feeding and, of course, the seals at Worms Head. All 11 of us were kitted out well and the weather was good. One sunny day sandwiched between 2 wet days, lucky. Thoroughly enjoyable. Thanks to the Sea Serpent and her very able and informative crew.

I can’t recommend this trip highly enough - it was such fun and even though we weren’t lucky enough to see too much wildlife, the boat trip alone was amazing! It was such a treat to see Gower from the sea, especially Worms Head and the smuggler caves. Dave and Lizzie were fantastic and so knowledgeable about the area and wildlife. The boat is very safe and seats 12 passengers. You have to wade out in just above knee height water to get on and off the boat. I wore trousers which I rolled up in the water, it was quite chilly on the boat so I was thankful for the length! You also need to wear waterproof shoes - crocs and raincoats are provided if you don’t have your own. I also recommend taking a pair of sunglasses to protect your eyes from the wind and sea mist. The boat does go quite fast at times and can be quite bumpy, we absolutely loved this but just something to be mindful of if you get sea sick. The boat trip lasts for 2 hours in total which I think is excellent value for money. We enjoyed the trip so much we are already planning our second!

It seems odd to give 5 stars for an event that did not happen, but the way Gower Coast Adventures dealt with a situation sets them apart from other operators. We had booked a trip but a dramatic change in the weather made it unwise to take tourists onto the water. The communication from the company when the forecast changed and on the day was excellent and the pre-payment was reinbursed within a couple of hours.

This experience is really worth the money they charge! The staff were knowledgeable and friendly. The boat felt very safe. The landscape is beautiful. We took the 9.30am ride and saw seals, dolphins and a few species of birds! It was two hours well spent! Brilliant!!
