- Leone S9 contributionsWonderful day at the Puerto Seca Beach Club.Chef David is awesome. Food amazing. My cousin had the spicy chicken wings and they were saucy, spicy and juicy. My chicken panini was very tasty. The sweet potato fries melt in your mouth. A relaxing time by the pool and the sea. We felt very pampered by servers Tricia and Teaca. DJ played music we could move to in water and land. Highly recommend Puerto Seca Beach Club.Visited January 2024Travelled with friendsWritten 14 January 2024
- Stacey6 contributionsLoved it, didn't want to leave! We were unsure what to do with our shore day off a royal Caribbean ship. We elected for this excursion and it was amazing. Very clean, extremely safe, absolutely beautiful. Enough umbrellas and sun loungers and facilities. Food was good. Well stocked bar. So glad we chose this! There isn't the means to snorkel or go out far swimming as it's a little rough waves...but lovely to go in up to the rope area and just have a real chill day. The pool was just amazing, I just wish we could have spent longer there! Only a 20 minute very flat drive from Falmouth PortVisited January 2024Travelled as a coupleWritten 27 January 2024
- Yola4u2018Cambridge, Canada5 contributionsBeautiful Beach between MoBay and Ochie.Free parking. Affordable entrance fee. Great food. Comfortable amenities - bathroom, showers, shade, pool, and lounge chairs. Butler service if you book a cabana. The water is fairly calm and you can see lots of fish just beyond the buoy. Music is playing, but I did not find it over-powering. I went there twice and had a lovely relaxing time.Visited April 2024Travelled with familyWritten 23 April 2024

Puerto Seco Beach was truly an experience. This location is great for friends and families. The grounds were very clean and well kept. Loved the buffet, food is really good. I had the Baked Chicken and the Escoveitch Fish.
The bar was also very reasonable. I made to get my favorite Red Stripe Melon Beer, glad they had it! The live entertainment with DJ kept the music flowing. I could’ve stayed here all day.
They have cabanas, spa massages are available too, very inexpensive I may add. Lots of outdoor showers to rinse off and large bathrooms and lockers. This beach retreat is on my to do list for my next trip back to Jamaica later this year.

We went there on sunday. The entrence fee may sound a bit pricey at first, but if you consider the options in the beach and other beaches in Jamaica, I can say it is reasonable. You can either swim in the ocean or beautiful pool. There a was a dj performance during our time. There is also a parkour in the ocean and you may enjoy it as well. The sand and the water is beautiful! Also the food that is served is also nice and not expensive. You have several options. I am definetly going there again

We absolutely loved this beach! It was located right next to our villa so we walked over. The staff was superb. We especially loved Tommy, our lifeguard who went above and beyond to provide the best experience for our kids on the obstacle course and on the beach. He was the friendliest! Chris was a great server and the food was amazing. The course was so fun. The huge huts fit our whole family of 16! We enjoyed an entire day and will definitely be back when we come back. Just amazing!

MSC Cruises offered day excursion to this property so we came with a group of four adults, two grandmas, and 4 kids under age 9. It was not very busy, but it was mid week and during COVID. The beach was very calm, perfect for little kids. There were plenty of chairs under umbrellas available and included in admission. The 8 and 6 year old kids did the inflatable obstacle course they have, its pretty big and the resort has employees that go through it with you so they can assist the kids which they did. We didn't eat, but there is a full menu and buckets of beer were a good price. It was nice having a big pool with palm tree islands in the middle, allowed time away from the beach and still had a little shade if needed.

This beach is in the centre of Discovery Bay. It has private parking and security. There is a fee of J$2,000 per adult to enter. There is a pool for use as well as the beach. The beach has loungers already set up on the beach with parasols to give shade. The beach is clean and there are changing facilities and toilets which are clean. There is a kitchen/bar area where food and drinks can be ordered where there is additional seating. I visited with family and friends where we had young children who were very happy spending the day on a lovely well kept beach.

We had a fantastic time here! It was a bit confusing when we first got there as to where to go but the staff was very friendly and helpful. The bartenders were fantastic and the drinks were good and very strong! We had some of the best jerk chicken and rice and peas I have ever had. Not everything was open possibly due to Covid or because they were not very busy that day. There were plenty of chairs and cabanas and the water was absolutely beautiful! Some have complained about the cargo ship but I liked looking at it and thought it gave the place some character. I highly encourage everyone to watch the staff lead the kids through the blow up water park. It is hilarious!! The only thing I wish was that the swimming area went a bit further out.
Shout out to our driver Anthony from Here-We-Go-Tours for taking us on a fun ride from the port and back with a quick stop for shopping on our way back.

Part of tour I booked through MSC Cruises, Puerto Seco Beach Club was a great experience. First they fed us some tasty jerk chicken and fried fish and then we had a few hours to enjoy the beach and their beautiful pool. I spent my time in the pool. A sunny day, the pool actually has palm trees growing on islands in the pool and I hung out under a couple of the palms. This is a fresh water pool and made for a relaxing afternoon. The pool and beach areas include comfortable loungers and even umbrellas to provide shade as desired. Hoping to visit Puerto Seco Beach Club again soon.

Hello me and my group members are planning a trip and it’s less than 40 can I still make a reservation and will it be cheaper and also what’s there???????

I am sure the facility will try their best to make room for you. Try to go when there is no cruise ship in the nearby ports, It will be very quiet if that is the case. They have watercraft, a water sports playground, a large beach, a big pool, a restaurant and poolside snacks, plus a couple of bars. Dolphin Cove is adjacent.

What’s the price for renting the cabanas? I was there in August and rented the chairs.
Written 29 January 2020
A VIP Cabana is USD$150.00 / JMD$10,000 and accommodates only 6 persons. Each cabana comes with butler service, a fruit platter and an igloo with beers, juices and bottled water.

What are the prices in US $ for admission, chairs and obstacle course? Thanks. We are heading there in April on a cruise stop and trying to decide what to do.

I copied this from moonjamaica: Puerto Seco Beach Club (8:30 a.m.–5 p.m. daily, US20 adults, US$10 children 5–11, children under 5 free) was completely reimagined and renovated in 2017-2018 after Guardsman Hospitality, the recreational arm of Kingston businessman Kenny Benjamin's security group, took a lease on the property. The revamped beach club officially opened on 22 September 2018 and has heralded in a new era for Discovery Bay, transforming its tired town beach into a destination attracting beachgoers from across the island and around the world. Admission includes access to the beautiful white sand beach with its crystal clear waters and use of the 150-foot pool, as well as shade under large beach huts on a first-come, first-serve basis and Wi-Fi. Beach chairs (US$5) and umbrellas (US$5) are availbale for rent if the shade under the thatch is all spoken for. Large groups can opt for private cabanas (US$150), which come with a six pack of beer, juice and water, a fruit plate and personal butler. Watersports on offer include Jamaica's only Wibit floating obstacle course (US$10pp), a challenging load of fun that puts even the best sense of balance to the test. Glass bottom boat tours, snorkeling, paddle boards, kayaks and diving are also offered (from US$10). The restaurant serves burgers, fish and bar food and a Walkerswood jerk pit grills up chicken and pork. Larger groups can pre-book buffet-style meals (US$15-20pp). The service at the Puerto Seco is top notch and lifeguards abound with watchful eyes. Dolphin Discovery opened its fifth location in Jamaica at Puerto Seco Beach Club in 2019. Patrons are not permitted to bring their own food or beverages.

If you leave the premises, would you be allowed back onto the property?
Written 19 October 2019
No because they cut the armbands off when you are exiting the premises.
Written 19 October 2019
No There is a great obstacle course for all ages, but you better be fit to do it. Kids could likely roll thru it and have a great time. It is chalenging. But I don't remember a large slide if that is what you are looking for . Huge pool but deep thru entire pool.
