A great location for an active break

We spent 4 nights here- booked a caravan but got upgraded to a large log cabin style lodge. It was clean (though a little dusty) and well equipped. It's a large site- tricky to... read more

My husband arranged for a long weekend for us and our family. We stayed in a log cabin with a Hot Tub. The cabin was very comfortable and loved the Hot Tub. The park itself is very well equipped. It has a indoor pool, a bar where you can get food, and a onsite supermarket. Just outside the gates is... More

Went here in our Hymer Motorhome for an out of season break.Site muddy and bare patches where long term caravan owners (tourers )had their awnings.Access roads also not surfaced so muddy and potholed, seeing how many statics are here a bit more investment would not go amiss. We here Monday to Friday but disappointed to find swimming pool shut but to be... We stayed in the 'canvas village' (4 tents one end of a field) and were booked for 3 nights but only stayed for 2 because of the difficulties. The brochure gave a description of the tent as luxurious and well equipped. It was a large tent but there were numerous problems with it. I imagine once upon a time it... More

Visited The Spitfire Bar with a friend for coffee. Plenty of seating and outdoor area to enjoy views of the lakes. Very pleasant. Would visit again.

We stayed here for a 3 night break, the surroundings and the lakes are so beautiful. Staff all friendly and helpful. Spitfire bar great activities for the kids even in the quieter season. We will definitely be back!

We spent 4 nights here- booked a caravan but got upgraded to a large log cabin style lodge. It was clean (though a little dusty) and well equipped. It's a large site- tricky to find your way around at first, but great to have a long walk exploring round. Take a torch for night walks though, as it does get... More

So, we tried a caravan and enjoyed it. We tried a modern lodge and loved it. We tried a log cabin and the jury is out... The family liked the cabin as it was different and spacious. However, I wake at 5am always and the creaking of the floors and stairs drove everyone crackers. Also, if you go to the... More

Whatever age you are, there is lots to keep everyone interested, including the free air displays from RAF Coningsby next door. Staff really try hard to please, really feel at ease and relaxed. Look up the website for the raft of activities and also attractions near by.

The park was huge. Spent a few hours just walking around. Went into the bar for lunch and the food was really good value for money. Did not use any of the facilities but there are plenty to choose from if that's what you want to do.

I have just spent the most relaxing weekend. Walking around the gorgeous lakes. Some with activities on some for fishing, but all clean, calm and peaceful. I could have had a spa session that they offered or sat beside the beach area on sunbeds. I chose to walk with my family around Tattershall castle and church. I would most definitely... More
