We're regular visitors to the beach at Thurstaston: great for a walk or just relaxing in the sun. This area is very popular with dog walkers so bear that in mind. It also really catches the wind so can be quite cool even on very sunny days. There is a reasonable cafe at the entrance to the car park, there... More

We were staying at the nearby campsite and didn't venture in to the country park very far but the parts we did visit were very nice. Very well kept area and no litter which is unusual. We will definitely be visiting again to do more exploring. This area would be suitable for bikes, prams and there are areas suitable for... More

Parked in the main car park then walked the long walk up station road to st barts church then along church lane to start the walk to the Dungeons. Kids loved climbing up to the cave and scrambling along the steam in their wellies. The walk... More

Lovely walk with the dogs n kids! Unfortunately there was not enough bins to dispose of doggy business which is why I haven't given 5* review. Thankfully though this is the only complaint really enjoyed the walk and will be visiting again

Fantastic walk with the kids (5 and 10). Found lots of things to keep us going and had a fab picnic in the sunshine!

Impromptu visit during a drive around the Wirral and it paid off. A great walk around the cliff edge looking over at beautiful Wales before nipping into the visitor centre to sit in the bird hide. A lovely experience watching the many different breeds of local bird feeding uninterrupted.

Lovely Day out, took our horses as had heard its good for a hack. Really great place with stunning views. Only downside for us we couldn't get on to the beach with the horses as could only find steps , this wouldn't be good for the disabled, or people with buggies . Still worth a visit , can walk or... The perk along with the Wirral Way is great for walkers, The Wirral Way is also good for cyclists and horses. You will find some great views and a peaceful atmosphere. Good for recharging your batteries.
