Very interesting place to visit - lots of otters and owls with the odd wolf thrown in. Great to wander around and see the animals - a bit of exercise as you enjoy seeing the animals. Staff friendly and the place seemed to be well set up to manage the Covid situation.

I redeemed my keeper experience last Sunday and me and my son spent a superb 2.5 hours with Dave. Nothing was too much trouble and we fed wolves, wild boar, deer, bison and otters. Dave was a great host and really knowledgeable. A really enjoyable day out and we both learnt loads about not only the animals but also the conservational programmes that are ongoing.…

Highly recommend visiting! It cost £12.5 and you don't have to book in advance as you can pay at the entrance. Be aware that you might have very bad or no signal but there is WiFi near the cafe area which is fast and free. I was a bit nervous that uber won't pick before visiting but it wasn't an issue.…

First of all, the play areas are amazing! They were a real highlight of the day for the children. The animals were also great and it was nice to see some different animals which aren’t usually visible. A particular favourite was the giant otter! The actual park did feel slightly dated in places and some enclosures could have perhaps been slightly bigger? The one way system was confusing in places and actually wasn’t a one way system around the giant otters. There was building work evident which prevented the path from continuing but this resulted in two way traffic down a narrow stretch whereas elsewhere in the park, the one way system was adhered to. It does appear that some families were ‘bumping into each other’ which resulted in a number of groups clearly larger than 6. I totally appreciate the limited staffing and necessity for the public to make the right choices here but some reminders could’ve been helpful. I would return and would recommend to others. It’s a good attraction and I’m sure will continue to provide the best it can for the animals in its care in these challenging times. …

I went with my 30 yr old grandaughter and although we enjoyed the visit most of the animals were in hiding. Best for us was the harvest mice, wildcats & polecats. We were disapointed that the butterfly house was closed. Staff were pleasant & toilet & snack facilities ok.
