The grounds here are opened up for groups. Some parts of the ruins remain. It's a peaceful spot. There are plans afoot to build a new Abbey within the original area.More

£5 entrance, no concessions and what is worse, no welcome. The lady on reception didn't smile, give any inforrmation or greeting. The toilets were awful, no paper towels, debris everwhere and when I could interrupther conversation, all she did was raise her eyes heavenward. The toilets had...More

We visited this lovely quaint village of Little Waslingham in Norfolk this past May, where the once great Waslingham Abbey was. The lovely ruins are fantastic to see! We walked around the grounds and enjoyed the lovely wooded area. So much history to think about!...More

It may be a cold time of year but to visit when the snowdrops are all out is really a sight to see. It seems to be blanketed in them like a light dusting of snow, and the one Tower still standing is quite beautiful...More

We felt a bit disoriented by the map which was attractive but not accurate which meant we couldn’t find our way around. We weren’t impressed sadly by the display in the crypt - it was badly lit and difficult to follow. The planting seemed tired...More

This place is so tranquil and to wander around in such tranquillity in this modern age is wonderful. The open space for outdoor worship is wonderful. I enjoyed coming here and would return if only for some quiet time.
