Lovely little shop in a building with really interesting history. Owner is very knowledgeable about the area and building and very friendly and helpful. It is a true antiques shop with treasures from lots of different time periods and I think better than a museum because you get to be so close to them!

What a treasure trove. This place is as good as any tourist attraction! It was wonderful just to peruse the various artifacts. The proprietor has such an eclectic collection that he supplies items for film shoots. If you are looking for somethging unusual, then this is the place to start looking ...

Visited here with my family, as my teenage son collects Georgian glasses.... Alas everything we as at the top end, of the price bracket, and so way beyond his budget....
Such a shame, as even living in London, we are able to find more accessible pieces....

Thank you for your review which is very much out of kilter with the other TripAdvisor reviews where we have always attained 4 and 5 stars. We are obviously saddened and dissapointed that you felt it necessary to give such a poor review for our shop in Walsingham.
We are a top-end antiques shop and we make make no apology for that. I am sure too that you have not been to many other places where a large selection of early period items spanning the 15th to 19th Centuries are available for sale.
In the main we are oak and country frniture dealers and the glass to which you refer is early and rare specialist glass which cannot be found in most other centres. Indeed our prices for the glass are less than our competitors in most instances.
Sadly people make comment without understanding what they are actually looking at or do not consider the associated costs of running such a large store as Walisngham Mill too.
You are or course entitled to your opinion as we all are, but perhaps next time, you would be willing to discuss such matters with a member of our staff or indeed myself directly before leaving such a negative response to gain a full understanding of how prices are arrived at.

Treasure was the first thing I said on entering! I loved this place .”this is the real deal” was my husbands comment. The wooden furniture was magnificent.centuries old chairs with smooth wood that asks to be touched! I loved everything. As we are visiting from Australia buying old oak furniture was impossible but I had to drag myself away! The stories these things could tell! Very friendly man who was happy to let us browse around.

I and Maureen had our holiday in Norfolk last week and we found this wonderful Antique department by accident as we left Walsingham to return back home.
It’s wonderful and we just wish we had more time to stay, the owners have joined my Facebook Page and were now good friends.

Dear Robin,
The two lovely antique pieces are received: The fine and rare early 17th Century English child's coffer and the mid 17th Century cupboard originating from the English-Welsh borders. They were carefully packed for safe delivery and I was pleased when I opened both shipments. The coffer and cupboard look fabulous in my cottage. They are going beautifully together with the wonderful patina and decorations and have real character and soul - a touch of robustness as well as fragility. I love the simplicity of them and what they represent. So I am very happy with both pieces.
I have had a completely positive experience with you from the start to the end. The welcome I received after my enquiry was one of the best I have ever known. You were very helpful giving all information needed. After payment, you had kept me updated with every step of the shipping. Thank you too for the full handwritten receipt with my purchase which is backed by both LAPADA and CINOA and for the different papers telling about the items and also for arranging speedy shipment.
And many thanks for expending much time and energy at me. Your service is very much valued and appreciated. To buy from you was an absolute delight.
You are one of the most experienced people I have met. Your dedication to find beautiful and rare antiques and your knowledge about the provenance of the items are incredible.

I am a collector of small items and found none in this up market Antique shop but the items that were there were amazing. Furniture yes but also quite unusual antiques that defy description. A place to visit and be amazed at!

This fantastic shop is a must for collectors and enthusiasts for country furniture, early oak, and associated antiques. There is a wide range of quality stock with sensible prices, all presided over by the friendly and knowledgeable owner, Robin. Can't wait to come back!

If you appreciate quality and are fed up with trawling through endless antique fair stalls to find a few items of quality or historical interest then this is the centre for you. Holt Antique Furniture is packed with wonderful items that are truly antique and often remarkably early in date. The director and his staff are real enthusiasts who are very knowledgeable. They know the field and pricing is very good for the age and quality of pieces that they are so adept at finding. A delight to deal with in every respect.
