Located at the Santa Rita vinery, Museo Andino is just gorgeous. Beautiful architecture and it holds a fantastic pre-Columbian collection. We arrived at the museum on a horse buggy!
They also had a photography exhibit on the Mapuche people and it was sublime.
A must visit. The museum staff were extremely helpful.
Their wifi signal was strong enough that we could access it even at the restaurant 100 Mts away!

We were on a tour to the Santa Rita vineyard outside Santiago and fell upon the museum as a place to cool off in the air conditioned building as it was very hot outside. So pleased we did as apart from the very informative side of the museum relating to Chilean culture and history, there was an exhibition of wood carving. Well worth a visit if you are at the vineyard

we visited this museum during our stay. We know practically nothing about pre-Colombian art but found the displays attractive and not overwhelming. Worth a visit.

A really nice little museum! My group was visiting the Santa Rita winery and stopped by the museum on the way out. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed the gift shop and they had nice exhibits on display. Maybe not worth a solo visit, but makes a trip to the winery that much more fun!

This is a very nice private Musueum, with a super nice Gold collection from Inkas and Mayas. Also has an exhibition hall with different attractions. Is free for entry, and is a great visit while visiting the Santa Rita Vignard. Also with a good shop with chilean products that are not easy to find around.

Interesting place on the grounds of the Santa Rita winery with beautiful South American tapestry's/ponchos, carvings and vases and engaging painting's, worth having a walk around whilst your waiting to sample the vino.

A well designed introduction to pre Columbian art, not overwhelming, with commentary in English. The gold room is spectacular. I was a little confused with time lines, and as far as I could tell there are no guides, but if you are on the premises, it is worth a look.

Apparently, we hadn't done our homework when we decided to visit the Santa Rita Winery............but our driver knew about this museum on the winery property and brought us to see it. It is amazing with a world class building and exhibit of impressive artifacts relating to the history of Chile. Extremely well-done with very good explanations (also in English.) The trip to see this museum should be considered the PRIME reason to visit the Santa Rita Winery (which is a great winery, but the museum is truly out of this world!)
