paid 15,540 for 3 adults and 1 child overnight stay at their Katakataka room. breakfast, lunch and dinner buffet included in the price. LIKES: - nature lover paradise. Our room has a veranda facing the river, and has a rattan swing. - very relaxing. too much greens everywhere. - you get to ride a cart pulled by a carabao. -modernized... More

My family and I were invited to the birthday party of our uncle Ado E and we were just so happy being in Villa Escudero. It is always a fabulous place for a family getaway. We love the falls, the museum and the carabao ride! We also love the "serenade" while on board the carriage.

This Place is AWESOME. Great food, service is awesome, people are very helpful, I love love the Kalesa ride with harana, best Escudero Museum I've ever been to. Eating in the water in front of the falls is like a breath taking. We want to do it again. Love love love Villa Escudero.

The cost is high, for most locals, no argument there. However, the grounds are immaculate and the Mabuhay spirit is everywhere. The grounds are lovingly maintained. The Escudero family goes to great expense to ensure a good time is had by all. The museum has some of the most interesting objects from around the world I've ever seen. That alone... More

Wanted to go here since I was curious about their waterfall restaurant. It was pricey for the whole day tour. Not worth it. They have a museum, carabao ride, pool, kayaking with bamboo rafts and buffet lunch. That's all. Lunch is not even that good. Plus they have a lot of flies. The drive going here from Manila depending on... More

The best part was the Waterfalls restaurant where you eat at in the river at the base of a waterfall which was different and interesting. The food was okay though. As for the other parts of the Villa, nothing else really stood out. The museum had a few interesting items but for the most part was poorly done. Also needs... More

So, having seen the famous (viral? trending?) waterfall restaurant on FB several times, I made it a mission to go while we were in Manila. Luckily we had time to go to Taal Volcano, because this place was total BS. Owned by a senator or his family? Weird figurines scattered around? Service people totally clueless - they gave me several... More

It has always been in my bucket list to experience Villa Escudero even just for a day tour. I read reviews that it is too pricey bus as for me and husband, it is a trip to remember :) We had an overnight stay there last December to celebrate our our 9th wedding anniversary. We enjoyed the relaxing ambiance it... More

We took a bus from Manila and it took three hours to do the 60 miles. Traffic was awful. The villa is very grand but the museum was a little strange with no overall theme. The carabao ride was only about four minutes. Lunch by the waterfall was different!!! The tables are in water and you share the food with... More

The place was terrible and overrated. Attended for a buffet lunch, there is very limited selection of food on offer and to make things worse, there are flies all over the food. Nothing special about the waterfall, especially after seeing workers tip cans of drink and left over food on the floors, and a baby peeing in the water. Best... More
