We were met by James and he gave us a fab tour of the vineyard . It was interesting , informative and insightful. James knew his stuff!!! We were just our own group which made it feel a very unique , personalised service - being welcomed by a glass of bubbly was a great starting point too! Tasted 4 types of wine and no pressure to buy any - but we chose to do so!!! Lovely small independent vineyard and would go back. A super afternoon! Worth the price.

Popped in on a vineyard cycle tour.
Very welcoming, pretty spot.
Quick tour and tasting.
Relatively old vineyard by Kent standards so different grapes and growing approaches which was very interesting.
Result - some super wines, especially a still red Pinot noir- very unusual and very good.

Called in recently when passing by. Welcomed by one of the staff, Max. Max took time to show us around and tell us a little bit about the vines, how they are cared for and how the wine is then produced. Very interesting. Thanks Max, enjoyed our time chatting with you. Looking forward to enjoying the bottles of Dry Bacchanalian and Dry Reserve that we took away with us

I phoned up in the morning to see if the shop
would be open. The chap who answered was very friendly. I drove there with two friends from London and we were greeted by Sally who offered us tastings from four wines. The setting was lovely. Beautiful day too and the wines were
excellent. It was obvious that Sally loved what she does and was very enthusiastic and knowledgeable. We came away with four bottles. I’m going to keep my two for a while. I’d really recommend Barnsole. It’s big enough to make really decent wine but small enough to be a lovely place to visit.

The campsite we were staying at recommended Barnsole vineyard for sampling local wines. We booked the '1 hour vineyard tour with the winemaker' and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. Brandon was very knowledgable and taught us lots of interesting facts about the vineyard, the process and wine tasting. We got to sample most of the wines on offer so we could make a selection to take home. Would thoroughly recommend!

A small, family-owned vineyard a very short drive from Canterbury and Dover, this humble gem delivers both delicious wine and lovely atmosphere. Brandon walked us through a tasting of one sparkling and two still wines grown, aged, and bottled on the vineyard. Exceptionally informative and COVID safe, the tasting allowed views of the vines in an idyllic Kent countryside location. The visit was a treat!

A lovely warm welcome from Philip and Sally after a sunny country walk. The particular highlights for me were the 2016 Old Vine Sparkling and the 2022 Bacchus. The tour was really interesting too. A great way to spend an hour or more in this beautiful corner of Kent. Our rucksack was a lot heavier on the walk home!

We visited here after my partner completed the 10km race in nearby Wingham. We were greeted with a smile and a full array of tastings to sample what this vinyard had to offer. We had a fabulous hour or so drinking and talking to the owner who was very knowledgeable on her wines and the wines of other vineyards across Kent. Would 100% recommend a visit if you're nearby.

Bused and walked to this venue so we could participate in the wine tasting. No appointment, we just dropped in. The tasting session was free. The owner was welcoming and informative. We tasted 5 different wines and had the specifics of the grapes and wine making process explained to us. Two of the wines were very much to our liking and we bought a couple of bottles to take home. Great way to spend a couple of hours. Highly recommend.

We visited today for the first time. The welcome was extremely warm, we were offered an impromptu tasting of their fabulous wine by Brandon who actually makes the wine and then given an enlightening tour of the vineyard and explanation of how the win is made. The wine itself is really top rate and reasonably priced.

All in all a very pleasant visit.
