Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Unique garden structures, historical buildings, cute shops including self-service old-fashioned candy shop and thin bread bakery on-site. Small café and pretty area in which to sit and enjoy. Many picnic tables spread throughout the garden and children's area. Children's area provides a unique and clever child-sized playground with simple games to play, houses to visit, sheep to pet, plants to water, etc. The little houses were closed at the time of our visit due to Covid-19 but there is still a plentiful selection of activities for children in the area. Don't miss the gorgeous view of the river at the far end of the children's area just past the sheep pen or the tall Hälsingland painted oversized chair for photos on the other side of the area, just outside the Lill-Babs museum. You can easily spend 2-3 hours here.

We rented a car in Sundsfall to make a 300 km circuit focusing on the area used by UNESCO in 2012 to choose their 7 farmhouses. Stenegard makes a perfect start because it has early free parking, clean restrooms, and operating bakery, then around 11 AM, cafe, restaurant, crafts, and scheduled activities. The beautiful 1910 Jarvso Church is walking distance away, and then driving the local area accesses numerous 19th-20th C multi generational farmsteads.
With perfect weather and the local ICA Supermarket, we enjoyed ourselves immensely.

Lovely place with a few stuff to see including a garden, free of charge, the lunch is a-m-a-z-i-n-g for a good price, also good for vegetarians. I can really recommend going there, not to fun for children though maybe.

Went here to my cousin's wedding. Had a great time. The place is very well appointed and makes for a wonderful wedding setting. Food was absolutely fantastic! Well done! I'd love to come back here to have another meal.

Probably one of Härjedalen main attractions, but here you have to wait for summer.Handicraft shop, shop for architectural, break for refreshments, everything was closed at the April visit. Visit the Center for World Heritage Hälsingland Farms keeps it open with information about what's to come.
