We headed over to The Crown for a quick business lunch and we were very please by it's traditional feeling. Awesome beer, good quality of the food, definitely a nice place to stop by.

I have visited this pub several times over the last few months and it has been consistently good. The menu is simple pub grub, but they have specials that change every visit. I am vegetarian and my partner is not and both of us have enjoyed the food. Friendly service and a good selection of wine. They also do special... More

The Crown Inn is now being run the way it used to be, by Les and Karen again. It had several managers, mostly unsuited to village public-house-running, before it finally settled back into its comfortable ways. The food is lovely. Home-cooked, and tasty. There is a menu specially for Seniors, which means you can have a two-course lunch for under... More

Nice pub in the middle of village/town. Sedate atmosphere, homely with a decent garden area at back. Good place to start/end the areas numerous picturesque walks.

The Crown is central to the village opposite St Marys church so ideal; for Sunday lunches. None of the pubs in Kingsclere have a garden but you can sit outside in the front or there is a pleasant seating area at the back.It has bar service and fine dining. Not too expensive for local people.
