My wife and I went on the 'Collections Centre Tour'. we along with another couple were fortunate to have Tony Bagley as our 'volunteer' guide, (19/02/2017) Before going on the tour I took the decision not to film the tour as I did not wish to impose on our guide. What a mistake! Someone must film Tony giving this tour,... More

We went during the school holidays. Well worth the admission price and ticket valid for 12 months. Massive collections of cars through the eras with lots of information. Staff helpful. Plenty for young children to do.

This is the second time that I have had the opportunity to visit this museum. There is a new 'wing' now which has allowed the exhibits to be displayed with more space. I went with my wife who is not that bothered about cars and another couple who were by no means 'petrol heads'. We all agreed that it was... More

Lots & lots of cars to see but not touch. Although there is one to sit in & photo/selfie in! The front desk provides little push along cars for toddlers & games to fill in while walking around. The cars are beautiful & each is given its fact file. There are interactive boards for the children to design their own... More

Just off J12 of the M40 is a eclectic collection of British motoring history, well presented and well maintained. It includes a large number of concept vehicles, MG record breaking cars, the Rover gas turbine car and many more. You will need at least three hours to do justice to the museum (most probably a lot more) so a visit... More

Road directions could be better as signpost looks as if it is taking you onto a JLR site. Parking good, all staff very friendly and helpful. Cafe good. Came away just a little under welmed , somehow could be given more sparkle. Main building ok, especially "time line" but make sure you visit the building over the road ( which... More

Took my ill, disabled Dad there for a nostalgia trip for him ( and I). Parking was easy and disabled spaces were right by the front door . Every member of staff we had interaction with was warm and friendly and went out of their way to help. The exhibits were set out in a pleasing manor you could get... More

I took the free tour and it was remarkably interesting, The place is well signed with details about the cars and the history Well organised and planned Orientated around JLR but there are some other vehicles as well. The soup was also good

The British Motor Museum located just off junction 12 of the M40 is worth a few hours of anyone’s time not just for the superb collection of British motor vehicles including proto-types that never made the production line, but also for a sense of history and nostalgia. If like Mr Wanderer you were brought up with mainly British cars (although... More
