- Ken144Peterborough, United Kingdom29 contributionsFab-u-lous Christmas ExperienceThank you so much for such a wonderful visit to the farm, and meeting Father Christmas. Joel, our grandson, had an amazing time seeing and feeding the animals and running around, climbing and using the slides in the soft play area. He still talks excitedly about the snow, Santa coming down the chimney, and eating snowmen marshmallows in the elf village! Fab-u-lous experience. Thank youVisited December 2022Written 10 December 2022
- Hayley G1 contributionExcellentIt was our 1st time at the farm and we will definitely be coming again. The santa experience was the best one we have ever been to, the attention to detail and to the kids was brilliant. The staff were friendly and helpful even though we were late for Santa, they couldn't help enough. Will be recommending, thank you 🙂Visited December 2022Travelled with familyWritten 15 December 2022
- Em_14171 contributionThe best christmas experience!!We visited on Saturday morning for your Christmas experience and we just wanted to message and say what a great time we had. Its the 2nd year we've been for christmas and we had such a lovely time. Everyone was lovely but your main Elf lady (sorry I don't remember her name) was wonderful. My little boy is autistic and the whole time she was just so engaging and made sure he was included, she was kind and thoughtful and I just wanted her to know it was very much appreciated. Thank you! We hope you all have a lovely christmas 🎄Visited December 2022Travelled with familyWritten 18 December 2022
- Barry K1 contributionFantastic Experience For AllWe visited Mini Meadows on Friday to take our 5y/o son Laken to see Santa. The experience was brilliant, really quite magical and super well organised. Laken was amazed at the personal touches mentioned by Santa, the fact that he mentioned his best friends name and specifics from school and knowing what he wanted for Christmas was great, a really quite special touch. All the way home he was asking how Santa knew the things he mentioned. The guide from the elf was fantastic, the dream room, the sorting office and Santas bedroom was great. (Nice touch with the snow machine!) He especially liked the fact that Santa talked to him personally. A great time had by all including Mum and Dad. Oh, and I almost forgot the mince pies, possibly the best mince pie I have ever tasted. Will be booking up next year.Visited December 2022Travelled with familyWritten 18 December 2022
- Andrew L1 contributionHighly recommendWe visited for the first time on Sunday having booked your Santa experience. We had a wonderful time and our three year old daughter was captivated. Everything was done very tastefully and with a lot of care, it did not feel tacky or commercial which was lovely. Special thanks to the lady who was chief elf for her warmth and enthusiasm! The only area that could be improved was the cafe which was struggling to cope with demand. Thanks for a great experience!Visited December 2022Written 20 December 2022
- S G2 contributionsAmazing Christmas experienceI just felt I should write to let you know we visited you on Sunday 18th December for the Christmas experience. It was by far the best Christmas event we have been to. This year our kids (6 and 7) had heard at school that the Santa you meet isn’t the “real” one so they both went in discussing how they would know he was a fake. Well they were both (and us to be honest) absolutely blown away and 100% convinced he was the real one. We loved each section of the experience (especially the mince pies!!) which just got better and better as we went through. The elf that took us through (a blonde lady) was fantastic and so enthusiastic. I have recommended you to several people already as it far outlived my expectations. There was only one thing I would say would make a slight improvement is if you could find a way to have us submit or even alter them nearer the time the answers to the information we gave to Santa. We booked in July so the answers for some questions could change. For example my daughters hamster had died during this time although luckily she named her new one the same name so that was ok. Thanks again for such a fantastic memory which I will truly treasure.Visited December 2022Travelled with familyWritten 20 December 2022
- BovrikgirlHinckley, United Kingdom1 contributionA Magical Christmas Experience!Wow, I have taken my two boys to a LOT of different places for their Christmas Treat, but the Christmas Experience at Mini Meadows was hands down the best Christmas event we have ever been to! It was clear at every stage what a huge amount of thought, planning and organisation goes into this event, and it was as magical for us big kids as it was for the smaller ones. A special mention must go to Evan the Elf, who made the whole experience just EXTRA magical with his fabulous sense of humour and elfish charm. The mince pies were also incredible, and my two boys are still talking about the sweet shop!Visited December 2022Travelled with familyWritten 21 December 2022
- Lauren C6 contributionsThe best christmas experience we could have asked for.I have just got back from the Christmas event held at Mini Meadows farm. It was a fantastic experience for both myself and my 4 year old daughter. So much effort had gone into the grotto and walk around. It was do much more than that. There was plenty of activities, and "wow" moments. Lots of photo opportunities and we even sat on Santa's sleigh. The staff made the experience even better. Fully dressed as elves, throwing snow balls the lot. The adults even got a mince pie and mulled wine. And let me tell you that was the biggest mince pie I've seen in my life and tasted amazing. I loved that father christmas came down the chimney - that was probably the highlight for us. The added touch of the personalised chats made it extra special. My daughter loved picking out her gift from the toyshop and thoroughlly enjoyed herself throughout the 1 hour activity. As an added bonus, we went around the farm to feed the animals afterwards. Win win. Such a lovely day. We will definitely be returning next year. Money well spent. Thank you once again for making christmas very special.Visited December 2022Travelled with familyWritten 22 December 2022
- Claire B2 contributionsAbsolutely wonderful party venue!I cannot recommend Mini Meadows enough! There is a wonderful selection of animals, a fantastic play area, the Christmas experience is absolutely awesome and today we held a birthday party for my daughter (4) who has had an unforgettable day. The kids all enjoyed themselves. We paid for the standard room which had a lovely view overlooking the farm and had plenty of space to accommodate the seventeen kids who turned up. The room was lovely and clean with a fun animal decor. The party food was laid out in lovely little bags nicely labelled and ready to eat. The deluxe party bags are also filled with some enjoyable party toys and are well worth the money. The staff are so helpful and friendly and always make you feel super welcome! It was a brilliant, stress free experience and I think that the adults had just as fun feeding the animals as the kids did!Visited February 2023Written 12 February 2023
- Alex2 contributionsFun, lots for kidsWe had a really good day today at the farm. I was alone with my 2, 3 and 6 year old so I had my hands full! Staff were helpful and friendly. There was plenty to keep the kids entertained, all animals looked happy. The only couple of things I would say is most of the animals people could feed looked a bit over fed - literally everyone was walking around with cups of food to feed them with! There was lots of uneaten food in their enclosures. The pets you could get in the cage of (rabbits and guinea pigs) looked a bit fed up of being petted, it is a lot of time to have children wanting to stroke them. Having said that, all animals looked happy and staff were great with them. Would recommend, it was a great day out!Visited February 2023Travelled with familyWritten 26 February 2023

We have done a few Christmas experiences over the last couple of years and this was by far the best. The children enjoyed every moment.
From the enthusiastic and welcoming elves on arrival, through the candy cane maze and into the 'magic lights' and snow! On arrival into the first room with children finding the letters, we found it to be well thought out. The children were all engaged and there was a fantastic choice of sweets laid out as an old sweet shop which we loved. The mince pies were absolutely delicious!
From there, the elevator experience was brilliant and we loved writing and posting the letters to Santa and making the reindeer food. Having the sleigh there for photo opportunities was a fab idea.
And then there was Santa himself, wow! We loved how he came down the chimney!! And to have personalised messages for all the children was so amazing, the children were in awe and it instilled their belief in Santa!
This was a truly magical experience, all 4 children enjoyed this as well as us and their grandparents.
A fantastic family day out, the farm was well covered in the pretty dismal weather! The children loved to be able to go in and interact with the small animals. I have to say the Shetland ponies did look a bit fed up but I'm sure they are well looked after and entertained.
The soft play was also brilliant, the children had a ball and even the big kid (aka Daddy) thought it was brilliant.
We will definitely be coming back for other events in the year as there were some parts of the farm (outdoors) that we didn't visit due to the weather.
Thank you for the special memories you helped us to create.

I just wanted to send a message to say a huge thanks to all your staff. We visited as a family today and were blown away by your Santa experience ! Nat the elf was incredible what an asset she is to the whole experience and Santa was brilliant with the children too! Would not change one thing at all!! Your staff even noticed my twins were both down as the same name and came to check the details with me before we went in ! Thank you so much for 3 very very happy children!

This is our 5th year returning to mini meadows for their Christmas experience, we have tried others too but this is by far the best.. the experience lasts around an hour with activities for the children like writing to Santa, making reindeer food, visiting Santa’s sweet shop and a snow machine! The elves are so friendly and make the experience fun and personal by using your child’s name to talk and engage with them. It is so much more than just a quick Santa visit.. Hugo really got involved this year more than any other and it’s so nice to see how much he enjoys it each year. Santa coming down the chimney is so special and his nice list with all the information on each child is so personal and to top it off they get to a choose a toy from Santa’s workshop that they would like. The farm is lovely too being able to feed some of the animals in their pens is a winner with our son. The cafe is great only one downfall this year is that they ran out of sausage rolls.. I’d been dreaming of this since we booked the experience they’re that good haha! Book early to avoid disappointment it gets booked up quickly and it’s not hard to see why.. definitely our favourite Christmas festivity. Our baby will be joining in next year too I’m sure.

Great place to take the young family, very well laid out and a lot of activities to do. Having said that, avoid the hot food that is served there, overpriced but undercooked. a clump of hard cheees with soft nachos which could be lifted all in one go is not a serious snack!!

Absolutely fabulous family day out! Thoroughly enjoyed, we took my 10 month old baby for a day at mini meadows. There is a designated soft play area for under 5s which was really nice. Not too busy, it’s located in the cafe and is reasonably priced at £4 a session. The cafe itself is lovely and serves a selection of hot and cold food. The coffee was great and the cakes looked amazing. There is a small gift shop to buy farm themed goodies. The farm itself was very well looked after the animals looked clean and happy. Plenty to look at and do. Also a great park area with picnic benches. Fun activities and a soft play area for bigger kids are also available. Would 100% recommend this place to anyone and everyone! Will be back many times in the future.

Mini meadows is only 15 mins from us easy to book and good value . Staff were all helpful and polite . Plenty of animals to mix and connect with . Purchased a bucket of food with the coloured cups an easy way to know what food is for different animals , grandson had no fear of the animals from the hamsters right up to the alpacas . Favourites were the piglets and goats . Outside play area was great and tractor to sit on , Foam party was great fun for the kids ( maybe worth bringing change of clothes ) Food & Drink was good as well as good value all was clean and tidy the staff really nice , had ice creams too and young lady there was helpful and chatted with grandson . Overall a lovely day out . Will come back soon

If we book a Christmas experience for 1600 can we enter the park earlier like at 1400 or only at time the experience is booked?

I didn't think they charged for under 2 years old?

I’m pretty sure my 2 year old was free to enter when I took him a couple of months ago....
What does the website say? Or maybe email the farm direct - I think the owner is called Ben.... to ask for clarification....

Is this mostly outdoors? And is it still worth going if it’s raining?

Yes mostly outdoors but they do have large play centre in doors as well as a cafe, also there are some animals indoors such as rabbits and gerbils that you can pet.

My niece is 7 and she loved it-both the animals and the indoor play area. The 6 year old and the 4 year old will love it. It can get a bit muddy around the outdoor bits bu the inside areas are accessible. The toilets are alos very good! If the older children have an interest in animals, they will enjoy it (and they will also probably enjoy the indoor play area!). If they are children who prefer games/technology, they might not be too engaged. However, it is amazing how even older children who might not seem like they enjoy animals will become very excited when they actually get to touch and interact with them!

is it ok to bring our cocker spaniel on a lead?. He is very friendly, (no aggression at all) and lives at home with a house rabbit - the rabbit is the dominant one of the two! Kindest Regards Linda

I would suggest you leave your dog at home. With animals you never know if you are introducing disease or bugs into the farm environment. Would you take your dog to London Zoo? I certainly wouldn't. You also run the risk of frightening the petting animals - the mire I think about this, the more the answer is leave your dog at home. Hope this helps.
