- Stacey J72 contributionsAmazing!!!Incredible!!!! We booked my step son a junior croc keeper experience- he enjoyed every second. Callum the keeper who did the experience was amazing, hugely knowledgeable, inviting and great with Logan. We travelled the 3 hour round trip and it was definitely worth the trip. If I had one small negative it would be a little more seating to eat indoors. I’m sure it’s fine during peak summer time as there is another cafe. Overall fantastic day and highly recommend.Visited December 2022Travelled with familyWritten 23 December 2022
- O’BrienSarratt, United Kingdom60 contributionsMust seeFantastic site. Pulled in after seeing signs near burford. Loads to see and do, the last big barn with the Nile crocodiles excellent. Walkways with glass floor going over pens really makes you feel like you’re up close. Well done!Visited January 2023Travelled with familyWritten 5 January 2023
- Gracie7475Chester, United Kingdom55 contributionsOutstanding small zooWe had a really good time here today. Lovely zoo, all the animals were well cared for. A lot of thought has gone into making those enclosures work for both the animals and the public. Great naturalistic habitats, I didn't have any animal welfare concerns, and I am quite picky. My son really enjoyed his tortoise experience. We had excellent customer service from the front desk, the cafe and the experience, sorry not to remember names, but thanks very much!Visited January 2023Travelled with familyWritten 6 January 2023
- Rich TBasingstoke, United Kingdom20 contributionsWell worth doing the experience.Had a fantastic day and memories to cherish. The experiences are what make this place so special and well worth the cost. It’s a small site so you don’t need long to get around but the fact they do the experiences where you can get close to the animals is what makes it stand out. Worth every penny. We did the Galapagos experience and the staff were amazing, super passionate about what they do and gave us plenty of time with the animals. We loved it. Being winter only one cafe was open but luckily we got a table and were pleasantly surprised with the excellent cheese burgers. Great to see the croc feeding as well.Visited January 2023Travelled with familyWritten 31 January 2023
- GELLY46Cheshire, United Kingdom55 contributionsExcellent visitWe booked a visit on line and we really enjoyed ourselves. The feeding crocodile talk was great and the staff are really knowledgeable. Really enjoyed looking at these magnificent creatures in their enclosures. Seemed well cared for.Visited February 2023Travelled with familyWritten 13 February 2023
- LynDavies66666 contributionsExcellent day outA great day out. Visited with grandchildren who had a wonderful time. We were all fascinated with the exhibits and how close yo were to the animals. The staff were all knowledgeable and helpful, answering any questions asked. Food in the cafeteria was very good and reasonably priced. Would recommend visiting the zoo to anyone of any age.Visited February 2023Travelled with familyWritten 22 February 2023
- keith r wWallasey, United Kingdom274 contributionsSomething different,As title says its mainly a crocodile zoo,but there are other creatures as well. You get the chance to see them being fed,as you do with other animals. There's a cafe that allows you to eat inside or out side. The food we had was fine (burger and chips). Its well worth a visit if you'r looking for a 'Zoo' with a difference .If your having something to eat ,you will need 2 to4 hours here, longer if you just want to amble around.Well worth a visit.Visited July 2022Written 26 February 2023
- Michael BSwindon, United Kingdom51 contributionsBrilliant Day Out more than I expected! We visited Crocodile World for my partners birthday and found it really professional and interesting. The animals are really well looked after and the whole place is clean tidy and efficient. Along with the reptiles you would expect there is a lot more to see and a great little cafe for lunch and all at a very reasonable price. I recommend a visit.Visited February 2023Travelled as a coupleWritten 26 February 2023
- mrZedWoottonBassettRoyal Wootton Bassett, United Kingdom103 contributionsamazing collection of crocodilesVisited hear last week and found it to be a lot larger than we thought and well managed, this is a excellent place to visit with small children and the feeding times were both entertaining and full of knowledge. one small suggestion would be to have prepacked sandwiches in the cafe as lots of people wanted food but could not wait for the delay in preparing. although the food was very good.Visited February 2023Written 6 March 2023
- Wanderer770894Witney, United Kingdom103 contributionsStill - Up Close and Personal! Can't really add to my 2021 review so here is (most of) it again... ....although this attraction operates on a smaller scale, it’s great to get so ‘intimate’ with the animals and study them, as they study you!! Other reviews say that you get better value for money at the Cotswold Wildlife Park (about 3 miles away as the crow flies) but, having visited there several times, you generally don’t get in such close quarters to the animals. They are just different places - both are VERY good. Crocodiles of the World is not just about crocodiles, they have Alligators, snakes, and other reptiles as well as Meerkats, and a few exotic birds amongst others. In short, we spent an enjoyable 2 hours here and intend to come back with friends (we did!). About a third of the attraction is outside (not the crocodiles) so dress appropriately if it looks like rain but also bear in mind that the indoor reptilian areas are necessarily very warm and humid.Visited March 2023Written 28 March 2023

We took our grandchildren here in half term ages 4 and 7, we all had an amazing afternoon. The crocodile feeding was not only entertaining but very interesting and the staff member was excellent answering questions. We spent 4 hours here so went round a couple of times which I would recommend as we viewed a lot of statue like crocodiles and then we saw them swimming or just moving around. It is a small collection but very good value for money. We will definitely return and the Grandchildren haven’t stopped talking about it!

I think it was very good because there are loads of reptiles and really cool animals. There is a crocodile feeding experience, you can see lots of lizards, crocodiles, alligators and snakes. You could see at the beginning so keep an eye out for the alligator snapping turtle!
Also you have a long time seeing crocodiles, lizards, snakes and alligators up close! There is a play ground, it is so fun and the cafe food is really good. It is very cheap because a bacon bap is £4.89!
There was a clouded leopard that did not come out of its bed but there were cameras around its enclosure and beds.
It was very busy at the crocodile feeding.
The car parking was v good but not a lot of space though. I think don’t bring a jumper because it is very hot. There was lots of information. You could also see mere cats, tortoise and a Komodo dragon. Thank you for reading. Joseph B, age 8.

This was a great experience, coming face to face with crocodiles and other reptiles (glass does actually separate you from them), a very informative team of keepers are happy to answer any questions you may have. Watching the crocs being fed was amazing and also the meerkats. The cafe was nice with freshly cooked food being served. Great value for money!

They animals are so well looked after and this is a place of safety for them. Big thanks to you all

Me and my partner and my parents have been holidaying in the Cotswolds the last few days. We visited here on our last day before travelling home the next morning. So this is somewhere we’ve not visited before. We booked our tickets online and made our way round. Lots of different kind of crocodiles to see as well as other reptiles and mammals etc. We were all so fascinated by some of the crocodiles as we was looking in some of the tanks for ages to see whether some of them were actually real or not and after a while they opened or closed their eyes or moved slightly so we had our answer. We went outside and that’s when we saw the Giant tortoises and other animals.
It was a really interesting but good day out, despite the weather we made the most of it all.

Enjoyed our first visit here. Worth a visit though some people not too keen on seeing what crocodiles eat. Children seemed to like the giant tortoises best.

We travelled from South Yorkshire to visit Crocodiles of the world, and also for me to have the Nile Crocodiles feeding experience. None of it disappointed us the whole time there was amazing, lovely staff and amazing enclosures to see. A special thank you to Lewis who assisted me with my feeding experience, he was very very knowledgeable, and super friendly and approachable to ask questions. I absolutely loved it, and would recommend anyone to visit it and experience this. Thank you all so much xx

Fascinating 2-3 hours. Loads of facts that I never knew about Crocodiles. Be warned very warm and humid but it keeps them active unlike most zoo animals.
Feeding time for Nile crocs worth seeing
Also decent food in cafe.
Car park not huge so get there early during holiday season
Cotswold Wildlife Park very close if you want to fill up your day.
Thoroughly enjoyed

What footwear is best? Thanks

Flat footwear, due to "decking" style walkways around the open enclosures, and some areas of uneven ground.

I would suggest a visit to Bourton-on-the-Water, for a walk along the river, shops and plenty of tea rooms & ice cream places. About 20 min drive from Crocs of the world, there's a large car park just down the river from Bourton centre - one of the busier nice places in the Costwolds.

Just seen this and as it’s over a year old I’m assuming you’ve already been. We loved it and was there for most of the day so if you’ve not had chance to visit I’d definitely recommend.

I think i recall it was £11 for adults but not sure how much for children. Whilst covid is bothering us all you'll need to book to be assured of your visit. We booked & paid the same time a few days pre visit. It's a fascinating/educating few hours & there's a good cafe there but tables are outside now.
