Absolutely loved the beach. Breathtaking landscape. Relatively secluded from the main beaches. Didn't get the chance to visit the restaurant, though.

What a treat. The most beautiful beach in Portugal and the most delicious meal of our trip so far. Beautiful fresh fish, friendly and efficient service, followed by a swim. We had high hopes after a visit 8 years ago and all expectations were exceeded

Make the effort and navigate your car to this quiet little place. Locals will be harvesting shellfish at low tide, the little bay sheltered by massive rock formations, clean sand, surfer crowd practicing their skills and a tiny bar and Restaurant da Adraga with great...More

My husband and I went here during our time in Sintra and the beach is very beautiful, but the surf was very rough so we didn't feel comfortable swimming, just an FYI.

Figured out that you must take the 30 minutes bus ride to almogcene, and then there are signs for the beach. From where the bus drops off, it is a 20-30 minute walk down a winding road. To return, there is a bus schedule... More
