The LOAD ZX SPECTRUM is the World's first museum dedicated to the ZX Spectrum and everything related to it. The ZX Spectrum was the first personal computer of so many Portuguese, Spanish, English and many others around the world. The ZX Spectrum played a significant role in the technological revolution and has a close connection to Portugal were many were assembled and even some models developed.

Visited the Load ZX Spectrum museum yesterday in Cantanhede, Portugal, it was brilliant, great collection, seeing some of the rarer kit for real was fantastic. Well done absolutely loved it. The attention to detail and the ability to have a go on the old games just made the experience all the more richer. Strongly recommended.

Trip down memory lane

The dreamer has awaken, to a reality of a Museum dedicated to our beloved ZX Spectrum and everything else Sinclair. Child friendly environment. You will have the opportunity to try out games like: Target Renegade, Chuckie Egg, etc. During the guided tour your kids will have the privilege to know the history behind the Micro that so much joy has brought to their parents. Sit back and read the latest books and watch the latest movies related to the ZX Spectrum. A nice place to hang out and absorb/experience the nostalgia of the 80s all over again. Recommended.

This is an amazing and complete Sinclair museum worth visiting. It's the only one in the world.
Sir Clive Sinclair would be proud of this one!

Astonishing Sinclair museum!

I was really amazed with the huge historical Sinclair colection owned and presented by João Diogo Ramos. Any oldschool computer fan should visit this place and enjoy this brilliant Sinclair journey. Besides his entusiasm is truly passionate and unique, it was a very nostalgic experience indeed.

Fantastic! Absolutely worth visiting!

We visited for a few hours and had such a great time. João is so knowledgable - I don’t know anything about the story of spectrums and their relationship with Portugal, but now I’m so well informed. The collection is so large - and you can even try out some of the games on the original machines! If you get the chance to visit, definitely do!
