Let me start by saying I am a 55-year-old woman who is admittedly out of shape. Therefore the unsteady kayaks and using my limited upper body strength longer than I was comfortable doing so...colored my experience a bit negatively. Also, because the kayak was unsteady,...More

We launched on sea kayaks, went around the inner cove to see so much wildlife in the water and on the shores. Eagle rays, golden rays, turtles, many fish and sharks, boobies, penguin, pelicans and more. The snorkelling was a bit murky, but not bad.

This is a really enjoyable tour. Easy hike on Tintoreras islet and more than an hour snorkeling around. Penguins are playful and can get really close to check you out.

My husband, daughter and I went with a group. The site is not terribly far from Puerto Villamil. We saw some boobies, sea lions and sharks from the boat, but the snorkeling was the best. The water was calm and clear. Lots of pretty little...More

Fantastic little island to head over to to explore and see numerous animals. Were very lucky to see a seal having just given birth to a new born pup. Heaps of marine iguanas and boobies everywhere.

Our guide was born and grew up on the island and knew just where to go to see the wildlife on the islands’ shores and in the water. We appreciated sharing a local person’s perspective on being a part of the Galapagos National Park. You...More

Came here in October 2017 and first walked the lava formations and had to ensure that I did not step on any marine iguanas because they were all over sunning themselves. This was probably one of my top spots to see the iguanas because you...More

Saw white tip sharks and sea lions there. For snorkeling, my friend said that she saw starfish and sea turtles. I can't swim so I stayed near the shore and saw some cute fish. The water is really clear and wonderful for snorkeling.

We paid about $45 per person. You can pay by credit but they charge extra, about 20%. The person who said there is an ATM is wrong - there is no bank or ATM on Isabela. Best to take lots of cash. The Tintoreras tour is... More
