Walk NZ’s longest swingbridge before taking part in a range of activities from high speed flying-fox rides and jet boating to more leisurely strolls along the Faultline loop walk to view some of the site’s fascinating geological and historical features. The loop walk, for instance, encompasses the famous White’s Creek Faultine, - epicentre of the 1929 Murchison earthquake, where the ground rose 4.5m (15ft), historical goldworkings and the chance to look for gold on the river banks. The flying fox is suitable for all ages whilst the jetboating is one of the best runs in NZ.

Although we were enticed with the on-line hype about this being the 'longest' swing bridge in New Zealand, as we toured New Zealand we learned that there are lots of free swing bridges throughout the country that offer an equally beautiful view of a river...More

The bridge is pretty cook, but not for 10 dollars... the view is very nice and the color of the water is beautiful, but on the west cost are so many similar thing for free... shamelessly expensive

This park is a tremendous example of what happens when private parties manage a nature park, instead of the Department of Conservation: it turns crap. Literally, because for some weird reason this entire park smells like urine and poo. The loop walk is nice for...More

Located in the Buller Gorge, 1hr 45 mins from Nelson, this is not just a Swingbridge, it's an adventure and heritage park rolled into one. The Swingbridge, New Zealand's longest, is 110 metres long and is suspended 17 metres abo e the Buller River. After...More

It is a pretty cool swing bridge over the gorge. For $10 NZ you can walk over the bridge and back. We opted for swing bridge crossing and chair zip line back for $30 NZ. His is a simple and cheap fun excursion and play...More

Despite some negative comments on TripAdvisor we liked it. I certainly would prefer to pay to cross a clearly well maintained bridge than risk a free one! The information about the fault line that you explore via the boardwalk was very interesting although a few...More

Worth the $10 for the experience - crossing a swing bridge that was originally built in the 1800's by Goldminers, over the vast Buller River. The longest in New Zealand, I loved it. The view was fabulous as was the sense of achievement.

We stopped here because other US tourists had done so the previous day and raved about it. Where are these people and all the others who think this is a great place from? First, it is very expensive. It is not the longest swing bridge...More

Stopped as we passed. You can't see the bridge from the car park so just have to get on with it. NZ $10 to enter felt expensive but worth it in the end; you're paying for upkeep. Bridge was great unless you can't cope with...More

A good place to freak out nervous people who are scared of heights or think it's a swingbridge from the 1800s that is suddenly going to flip. After crossing, head down to the river's edge and have a splash around in the crystal clear ice...More
