The great thing about the treks is the environment but the guid was condescending and unable to listen. The horse was completely unresponsive and fit only to plod along behind the next horse. A waste of money and a negative experience

Its a little difficult, but coaches run daily from Nelson into Golden Bay so if you can get to Nelson no problem.
