As part of our bus tour we went on a boat tour around the bay. Knowledgeable friendly staff gave us the history of the area and a screeching in ceremony. Gros Morne Discovery Center is an additional informative stop.

This is a nice place to chill out and take in the view. The East Coast trail is very close. The bay is beautiful. It is a quaint little NFLD town. There are a number of whale viewing tours and kayak tours. A few local restaurants. It is good location to use as a base and explore the area. It is only short 49 min drive from at Johns.

Had a great time in this area. Several scenic vistas and very friendly people. The eco centre was interesting to walk on the beach.

As we were waiting for our whale watching cruise, we took a drive around the bay to view the homes and cottages. We also stopped to look at the reels of anchor chain in the harbour as well as the boats in the water. A pleasant experience on a beautiful day!

We only visited Bay Bulls because it was the meeting place for the boat tour that we signed up. We mainly drove through the place. Hardly spent much time touring the community. The scenery was quite nice as it was close to the waters.

We were in St. John’s for a family vacation and planned a day whale watching with O’Brien’s in Bay Bulls. The scenery is beautiful, the people are friendly and we can’t wait to get back for another visit!

Home of O'Briens Boat Tours. Lovely example of small town Newfounland. Trade your novels in at the local post office and do not miss Cabot House at #3 St. John's Road

Beautiful!!! This is not a far drive from St. John’s and is well worth the time to get there. The water is freezing! As expected :)

Restaurant had lots of parking we walked down the stairs to the docks and waited for the boat tour to see the whales and puffins
