Stunning place....greeted by loads of penguins waddling about their business, jumping onto rocks - some not great at judging distances - negotiating paths in single file; ignoring the dassies lounging in the sun and scratching their tummies; and, generally pretending we weren't there either....what beautiful,...More

Great if you like to look at er... penguins! Well, it's the best chance most of us will get to see wild penguins. I think they are lovely birds and It's good to see them free and not in a zoo, but it's not really...More

I was unaware of this attraction, because I don't holiday regularly, until a friend recommended it. A bit of driving to get there, but that was part of the adventure. Excellent viewing for the kids - and I'm a kid at heart! Saw loads of...More

A perfect place to see the penguins and the entrance fee is seriously cheap. Plenty parking and not crowded. I saw plenty Comerants and even an Oyster Catcher.

Everytime we go to Betty's Bay, we go to see the penguins and it is never disappointing. The kids love seeing them and the holiday is never complete without a visit!

These Jackass Penguins make an amazing donkey like bray sound, if you closed your eyes you would swear it was donkeys and not Penguins, hence the name Jackass! They are endangered and are on the (World Conservation Union) Red List of Threatened Species. A must...More

Every year we go back to Betty's bay to see the penguins. We love it there and would recommend it. It is a long drive to get there but the roads are the best and well maintained roads anywhere. The restaurant is great and staff...More

This is where you can go if you don't want to be with all the tourists on Boulders Beach. It's quite a bit further out (unless you're staying over that way) but it's ridiculously cheap and seems more authentic. There are other sea birds to...More

Manageable but send them in batches to view the Penguins. Maybe 20 are a time to get the maximum viewing pleasure.
