From Kunming we caught the subway, then train, then bus. Took about 2 hours to get there. Lots of rocks, nice walks, nice lake, information for English speakers a bit scarce. Enjoyable day.

I hired a taxi for the day. Prices are really reasonable, I think I paid Renminbi 300.

You do not need to join a group. It is fun wondering around and avoiding the groups.
