Very secluded beach, took awhile to hike in but well worth it. Swimming o.k. a few more jellyfish than I would like but overall recommend.

Beautiful vistas and a stunning white sand beach for reward. About a 45 minute hike to the beach. Good trail. I have some fear of heights and this trail, while it went along the side of a hill, was manageable. We did not go on...More

Nice private beach. Make sure you take food/picnic supplies down to make a day of it. Great place to surf/boogie board too! If you plan to do the walk to the waterfall, make sure you have proper footwear on. It’s a decent trek!

This would have to be the most beautiful beach in NZ. It takes about 30 minutes to walk there from the north end of Waihi Beach and requires only average fitness. The beach has a beautiful flat grassy and shady reserve backdrop; great for picnics...More
